Norman Haste

Norman Haste, formerly CEO of Cross London Rail Links Ltd and Project Director for the Second Severn Crossing, is now CEO for Laing O’Rourke’s Middle East business based in Dubai.

His role covers responsibility for several projects in the region including a USD 18 billion mixed use development in Abu Dhabi.  He has become conversant with the cultural aspects of a multi-national society and a multi-ethnic workforce which can present challenges in respect of developing and retaining skills both at operative and professional level.
