Earned Value Management: Contractual versus Practical Implementations. 
 - defining EVM and its requirements -

The presentation will:

  • Provide a brief overview of the history of Earned Value Management and its governing documents & guidelines

  • Discuss the five component parts of an Earned Value Management system and the requirements of a formal US DoD accreditation versus a self-regulated yet practical implementation

  • Examine the interpretation of Earned Value Analysis in terms of historical data, forecasting, and Variance Analysis Reporting (VARs)

  • State the importance of training.  Understanding of acronyms will be reviewed and discussed 

  • Discuss the roles and responsibilities of core skill groups when implementing and executing an EVM system along with periodic reporting
