Rebecca Shepheard Rebecca Shepheard

Rebecca is Director of Delivery within the Business Engagement and Skills Directorate of the London Development Agency (LDA). This division focuses on the delivery aspects of all projects at contract stage to ensure partners are supported to deliver outputs to timescale and budget, and maximise on alignment between initiatives, and value for money secured.

Since joining the LDA in April 2006, Rebecca has had lead responsibility for driving the design, development and implementation of the two London City Strategy Pathfinders (CSPs). Working with Consortia partners, the Pathfinders are looking at ways to reform the welfare system in a sustainable, inclusive manner, through testing new ways of aligning partner funding, resources and targets to address worklessness and child poverty issues. She will continue to oversee the implementation of these Pathfinders.

Prior to joining the LDA, Rebecca was Senior Operations Manager for the National College for School Leadership, with key responsibility for the operational consultancy aspect of a ring fenced £45m project focusing on measuring the benefits of creating a networked environment between schools. The project was established to design and implement engagement and development strategies to improve teacher retention and career progression, and increase the learning experience and achievements of children. This project ultimately informed the new Primary National Strategy launched by the Prime Minister in 2005.

Rebecca has extensive consultancy experience, having run her own consultancy business for a number of years, working with FTSE 100 and academic clients, and focusing on customer management, change management and strategic development.
