The paper will explore the key components of building an Enterprise PMO within a global business. This will reflect upon “what it takes” to establish this within a complex organization, and will advocate the importance of having a strong Project Management Profession to underpin the successful delivery of global projects. The paper will close with practical observations on what it takes to put the pieces of the PMO puzzle together, together with some recommendations on how to measure success.
