Earned Value Management (EVM) is now mandatory for businesses dealing both with the US Department of Defense and more recently the UK MoD/DPA. Why is it that they suddenly see it as being important?

What does Earned Value data tell you – and what should a project team do to ensure improved project performance?

Find out some answers by registering for this one day workshop, which will take a critical look at Earned Value Management and will assess its potential for contributing to both project performance and ultimate project success.

Speakers will include Martin Eveleigh from Rolls Royce Defence Aerospace, and Simon Springate, Programme Integration Manager for Metronet Rail Capital Projects.

Martin will provide a brief overview of the history of EVM, its governing documents and guidelines and will discuss the practicalities of its implementation. More...

Simon will look specifically at how EVM has been applied at Metronet, focusing on the people involved and their reactions to the output data from EVM.  ‘Benefit comes when understanding reaches critical mass’ Simon explains. More...

In addition, the programme will include time to share both our experiences and our understanding of Earned Value, in this facilitated and confidential network environment.

To join us please contact Rebecca Phillips phillipsr@humansystems.net or telephone 0207 290 2766.

Attendance at this workshop is free to members, inclusive of all refreshments and lunch.
