JOHN CUTTING
Deputy Head of the MOD Programme & Project Management Centre of Excellence

John Cutting is the Deputy Head of the MOD’s Programme and Project Management (PPM) Centre of Excellence (CoE) which provides Governance, Practice Standards, Training and Coaching, Assurance and Knowledge Management services across the organisation. In this role, he has responsibility for the ‘management of project management’ which includes performance measurement and improvement and alignment of PPM practice with industry.

John is a Chartered Engineer and Project Manager with over thirty-five years of experience in defence acquisition gained in variety of roles across several sectors. All of these roles, in one way or another, have involved close working with industry to achieve the supply chain integration necessary to achieve the successful delivery and support of complex Defence Equipments.
