10th ANNUAL GLOBAL WORKSHOP
9 & 10 November 2010
VENUE - Hilton London Heathrow,
Terminal 4,
Hounslow Middlesex, London TW6 3AF UK
Total Project Performance
Creating Successful Frameworks for Performance Management
This invitation-only workshop will bring together senior executives from member organizations across our global Networks. Over these 2 days, we will examine the concept of ‘Total Project Performance’, analysing what this means for our organizations and sharing our understanding and our experience to pinpoint measures to enhance organizational project performance.
At the heart of every business lie four systems:
- The performance management system – does EVERYBODY in the business know what they need to do for the business today?
- The information system – does everybody have the right information to let them know how well they are doing what they need to do today?
- The reward system – does everybody get rewarded for doing well what they should be doing today? And
- The development system – do the right people get recruited, developed and promoted into the positions where they can perform well tomorrow?
For EVERY company, Project Performance management is now crucial - but projects are not always managed through the same criteria. It is important to look at how these four systems relate to Project Performance.
This Global Workshop will consider these issues, and seek answers to the following questions:
- How does performance management for an organization’s project-based activity contrast with and link to performance management for its business operations?
- How does the Total Project Performance management framework relate to organizational structures?
- What role do PMOs at different organizational levels play in performance management?
- What are the challenges encountered in terms of Total Project Performance management, and how can they be overcome?
