Stephen Clegg
Senior Project Director, GE Healthcare

Stephen has more than 26 years’ experience in the pharma industry. After an initial 4 years as a research chemist, he moved into project management, first in the support role of Project Planner before progressing to Project Leadership.

Having started in “big pharma” at Glaxo, Stephen moved into small pharmaceutical biotech and virtual companies, including one company of just 4 employees. By their nature, pharma start ups often have very strong relationships with the scientists whose ideas led to the company being founded, and these founders are key stakeholders whose aims may diverge as the company grows and changes.

Stephen is currently a Senior Project Director at GE Healthcare where he is responsible for the R&D portfolio analysis of the Medical Diagnostics business, establishing a stronger project management culture and working with project teams to improve project delivery.
